Glorification being the 4 processes we receive in Salvation.
Theology 108 - Kingdom
The biblical usage of the term 'Kingdom' refers to the divine rule of God. A kingdom involves a king,
one who rules, subjects, those who are ruled, and an actual exercise of rulership. Based on this definition,
the Kingdom of God can be described tentatively as the rule of God over His creatures. When the term
is used in the Old Testament, it is when such passages speak of God as 'King' or 'Judge'. The term is
very common in the synoptic gospels, 4 times in John, eight times in Acts, and six times in Revelation.
This course will discuss the use of this term as it appears in the Bible. Either as Universal, local, directly
by God or as ruling through a mediator, which is called Mediatorial. The latter will be the major emphasis
of the class.
Theology 109 - Ecclesiology / The Church
Ecclesiology is the Doctrine of the Church - it studies the place of the Church in the Doctrine
of Scripture. The great theme of the scripture is the kingdom of God. Ordinarily, it is wise to
survey this area in its entirety before discussing the doctrine of the Church. This will place
everything in perspective. The Church is one aspect of the Kingdom of God. It is presumed
that those who take this course have some general knowledge of the Kingdom, so that the Church
will be seen in its proper place, and yet distinguished from the totality of the Kingdom. In order
for the student to understand and appreciate the distinct nature and importance of the Church, it
is necessary for the student to see that the church has a particular place separate and apart from
all the saved of all the ages, is not to be identified with the nation of Israel, but is in a class all by
itself.
Theology 110 - Eschatology / Future Events
Eschatology is the term used to describe that area of Biblical teaching dealing with the final
outcome of things. Implicit in the very nature of things, where there is commencement and
continuation, there must inevitably be a consummation. The Bible teaches very clearly that
there was a commencement of this present order of things by creation (Gen.1:1). It also makes
very clear that there is a continuation of this present order by the preserving power of
God (Neh. 9:6). In addition, the Bible also teaches that there is movement in the plan of God
toward the final outcome, the consummation of all things. (I Cor. 15:24,28). This course will
discuss thoroughly the subjects: The physical death, The intermediate state, The Second Coming
of Christ, including tribulation, The antichrist, The resurrection, The judgements and The final
state of the unsaved.
Theology 111 - Angelology
The Doctrine of ANGELOLOGY. This study will answer questions such as who are angels?
What are their nature and their ministry? How are angels classified? It covers the Doctrines of
Satan and demons, Biblical Instructions on dealing with demons and it studies Spiritual Warfare.
